"Woven Together: I50 years, Iceland and Canada"

This year we celebrate 150 years since the Icelanders immigrated to Canada, and the deep connection that remains between the two countries.

The design was inspired by the Lopapeysa, the traditional Icelandic patterned sweater. The Lopapeysa is a prominent cultural symbol of Iceland made from Icelandic wool known as lopi.
